John L. Headley, MD

Dr. Headley grew up in the Southern California area and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Southern California. He received his medical training at UCLA, obtaining his MD degree in 1976 and completing his Dermatology Residency at UC Irvine in 1980. After moving to the Seattle area in 1980 with his family, he founded Northwest Dermatology & Skin Cancer Clinic. For many years he served as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Washington and has mentored many UW medical students over the 26 years he has been in practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. His practice includes general Dermatology and MOHS surgery. His outside interests are many and include training and field trialing his beloved black labs, woodcarving, hunting and fishing. He and his wife have raised four wonderful children and he can now boast to being a proud Grandpa for the first time.

Laurie Jacobson, MD

Dr. Jacobson graduated from the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 1998. In 2002, she finished her Residency in Dermatology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She spent two years as an attending physician at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York at which time she completed her Fellowship in MOHS, laser and cosmetic surgery with Roy G. Geronemus, MD. She has been with Northwest Dermatology & Skin Cancer Clinic since February, 2005. Her practice includes General Dermatology and MOHS. She is married with 2 young children and in her down time Dr. Jacobson enjoys distance running, pilates, travel and trying new ethnic restaurants.

David Shneidman, MD

Dr. Shneidman is a board certified Dermatopathologist who comes to Northwest Dermatology several times per week to read and diagnose our biopsy slides. Dr. Shneidman is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Pathology Department at the University of Washington.

Michelle Draper-Lorton, ARNP

Michelle has been with Northwest Dermatology since May, 1998. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Art from the University of California at San Diego in 1987 and her Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, in 1993 from University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Chelle is the founder and president of the Alliance of Dermatology Clinicians and is on the Clinical Faculty at the University of Washington School of Nursing. She is an artist and enjoys cooking and raising her two sons. She and her family live in the Edmonds area and enjoy the community and all outdoor activities.

Druska Salisbury-Milan, PA-C

Druska joined Northwest Dermatology in June, 2002 shortly after graduating from the University of Washington Physician's Assistant Program. Her earlier education includes a BS degree in Music Education from the University of Arkansas and a BS degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington. She is a member of the Washington Association of Physician Assistants, the American Association of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology PAs. She is very involved in Bicycle racing and is a member of the Ti-Cycles Bicycle Racing Team. She is also an accomplished violinist and still actively plays in String Quartets. She enjoys gardening and lives in Seattle with her husband, Paul and her elderly cat, Theo.

Ginger Bouma, PA-C

Ginger has been with Northwest Dermatology since May of 2005. She is a graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. She went on to Duke University to get her Masters Degree in Health Sciences and PA Certification at the Duke University Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology PA's, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. In her free time she enjoys photography, gardening, hiking and scuba diving. She lives in Seattle with her husband and English Pointer, Kona.

Megan Landis, PA-C

Megan Landis grew up in Florida and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She is a graduate of the University of Washington Physician’s Assistant Program and the newest member of Northwest Dermatology.  Prior to entering physician assistant school, she worked as a medical assistant in Dermatology and as a cosmetic laser technician.  She has extensive experience with lasers for the treatment of vascular lesions, skin resurfacing, facial rejuvenation, hair removal and tattoo removal.  Megan has also been trained in injection procedures for leg veins, Botox and fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm.  Megan is a member of the Washington Association of Physician Assistants, the American Association of Physician Assistants and the Alliance of Dermatology Clinicians.  She looks forward to working with patients to ensure lifelong skin health and beauty.
